About me
Andrew Stickney has served as the Senior GIS Specialist for Missoula County’s Office of Lands and Communities since 2017 and has been GISP certified since 2019. He creates and maintains mapping resources that tell the story of the County’s people, places, and natural or cultural resources, and provide accurate geospatial information for County staff, the public, and other partners. Andrew grew up in Missoula and has worked in several private and public sector GIS positions in Montana, Kansas, and Illinois. He is passionate about solving problems using geospatial technology and getting people excited about using GIS, geography, and maps. In his spare time, he likes to bike, read, play chess, and spend time with his family.
